EMW RETROSYNTH BANK – MIDI SysEx Patch Manager & Storage System

The RETROSYNTH BANK is a standalone solution for storing, organizing, and transferring patches to your synthesizers using MIDI SysEx, with no computer required.

It works with virtually any synthesizer that supports SysEx (.syx), covering the vast majority of classic and modern instruments.

Patches are stored on a microSD card in standard .syx format and organized into a simple and logical folder structure by Brand and Model. Inside each model folder, there are two categories: BNK (Bank) for files that send multiple patches at once, and UNI (Unit) for individual patches.

Operation is fast and straightforward. Insert the microSD card, browse through folders using the encoder, select a patch, and send it instantly to your synthesizer via MIDI with a single click. The workflow is designed to be immediate and reliable, making it suitable for both studio use and live performance.

The device can also receive SysEx data via MIDI IN and store it directly on the microSD card. This allows you to edit sounds on your synthesizer and save them as backups, or build and manage your own patch library without any additional tools.

After purchase, you receive a download link with a ready-to-use folder structure, including multiple brands and models already organized, along with an initial collection of patches so you can start using the system immediately.

The system is fully expandable. You can add new synthesizers, download patches from the internet, and organize everything according to your workflow. All files are automatically recognized by the device.
