The S-8000 combines a compact sample player, synthesizer and effects processor in a single instrument, allowing you to create complete instruments from WAV files using single samples or multi-samples. With pitch, gain, Root Key, start point and loop controls, the S-8000 gives you everything you need to shape and play your own samples.

Its powerful synthesis section features a resonant VCF with dedicated envelope, VCA with ADSR and LFO with multiple waveforms, along with Velocity, Mod Wheel and Aftertouch modulation. A wide range of effects, including Chorus, Phaser, Delay, Reverb, Bloom and Stereo Spread, further expands its sonic possibilities.

Samples are stored on a microSD card, making it easy to build and organize large sound libraries. The S-8000 also includes MIDI IN/THRU, a color graphic display and high-quality stereo audio output, with many synthesis, performance and effects parameters available for external control via MIDI CC.

The S-8000 also comes with a growing library of samples organized by instrument and equipment. EMW regularly expands this collection with new sounds and updates, allowing the S-8000 to continuously grow with new instruments and sonic possibilities.
