The EMW VPOLY-6X is a 6-voice Virtual Analog synthesizer inspired by the classic Korg Polysix concept, combining a simple and intuitive interface with expanded synthesis, modulation, MIDI control and effects capabilities.
From expressive leads, rich pads and punchy basses to plucks, arpeggios, classic analog sounds, effects and evolving textures, the VPOLY-6X delivers a powerful and distinctive sound designed for both studio and live performance.
Its architecture features a main oscillator and independent sub-oscillator, a multimode LPF, BPF and HPF filter with selectable 12 dB or 24 dB slopes, POLY, MONO and UNISON modes, Glide/Portamento, an integrated Arpeggiator and modulation via LFO/MG, Aftertouch and Modulation Wheel.
The VPOLY-6X also includes stereo CHORUS, PHASER, DELAY, BLOOM and REVERB effects, with synchronization through MIDI Clock. Virtually all parameters can be controlled via MIDI CC, while SysEx support allows patches to be transmitted and received.
EMW also provides an online sound library where users can explore and load new patches directly into the VPOLY-6X through the EMW patch library website, without requiring dedicated transfer software.
The VPOLY-6X is not designed simply as a recreation of a classic synthesizer. It combines the immediacy and simplicity of a Polysix-inspired architecture with expanded possibilities for synthesis, modulation, control and effects.
