The WCS-X is a standalone desktop monophonic synthesizer built around one idea: It’s All About the Sound.

Inspired by the original Wave Composition Synthesizer, it delivers immediate hands-on control, bold character, and zero dependence on computers or complex menus. Everything is right in front of you, ready to be shaped in real time.

Now featuring patch memory, the WCS-X allows you to store and instantly recall your favorite sounds — combining spontaneity with practical usability.

At its core, the WCS-X pairs high-resolution digital oscillators with a fully analog signal path, including VCF, VCA, ADSR, and a dedicated analog LFO for filter modulation. A second, independent digital LFO is assigned to pitch modulation.

Refined over more than 15 years, its sound is punchy, aggressive, and full of character — often described as digital with an analog punch, featuring a gritty, acid edge and subtle hints of classic Synclavier-style tone.
